Frequently asked questions
Is there a watermark or a limit?
Neither. Because the AI runs on your device instead of on a rented GPU, each image costs us nothing, so there is no credit system, no watermark and no cap on how many you process.
Why is there a download the first time?
The AI model itself has to reach your browser once — 12 MB for the Fast model, 109 MB for the Accurate one. Your browser caches it, so later visits start instantly. Note the direction: the model comes down to you, your photos never go up.
Which model should I choose?
Fast (MODNet, Apache-2.0) is trained on people and is excellent for portraits and selfies. Accurate (BiRefNet, MIT) handles arbitrary subjects — products, furniture, animals, text — and is the better choice for e-commerce shots.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Your input never leaves your device and is never sent over the network, which means it is safe to paste production data, API responses and tokens.
