Convert Word to PDF

Turn a .docx document into a clean PDF with selectable text and working links. Free, private, no upload.

One extra click, much better output. Your document is handed to the browser's own print engine, so the PDF has real selectable text and working links instead of blurry page images. Choose Save as PDF as the destination when the dialog opens.

Drop a .docx file, or click to choose

Read on your own device — the document is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a print dialog open instead of downloading directly?

Because it produces a far better PDF. The alternative — rasterising the page in JavaScript — creates blurry images with no selectable text, no working links and huge file sizes. Handing the document to your browser's own print engine gives you real vector text. It costs one extra click and is worth it.

Does it support old .doc files?

No. The .doc format is a closed binary format from the 1990s. Open it in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and save as .docx first.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Your input never leaves your device and is never sent over the network, which means it is safe to paste production data, API responses and tokens.
